So I'm going out on tour again, this time in the northeastern and southern US, April 18-22. I know there are a lot of F:ATties in that area, so if any of you are close by it would be great to finally meet you monsters in person. I'll be in PA, NJ, CT, and VA this time around, cities and dates below. (And for anyone in the San Fran area, I'll be at the Bay Area Book Festival in early June, appearances TBA.)

Monday, April 18, 2016, 6:30pm
The Doylestown Bookshop, Doylestown, PA

Tuesday, April 19, 2016, 7:00pm
MarketFair Barnes & Noble, Princeton, NJ

Wednesday, April 20, 2016, 5:30pm
R.J. Julia Booksellers, Madison, CT

Thursday, April 21, 2016, 5:00pm
Hooray for Books!, Alexandria, VA

Friday, April 22, 2016, 5:00pm
Newtown Bookshop, Newtown, PA

Do Virginians like being referred to as being in the Northeast ? Honest question.

Hell no. Virginia is the South.

Pennsylvania and New Jersey are Mid Atlantic but Bullwinkle is an author not a geographer so speaking on behalf of all Americans, we forgive you.

Also sucks you'll be in CT mid week. I'd come down and get a book signed if I could but I'm on the road during the week.

Yeah, unfortunately children's author's tours are almost always scheduled during workdays since most of our time is spent doing school visits. Nonetheless, thanks for the geographic distinction; it'll save me from insulting Virginians when I'm there.

So the North-East is basically just the New England states then? +NY and RI I suppose. NY and everything east of that state?

RI is a New England state too.

I think that PA, CT and NJ are all clearly NE too in my mind. The key letter is "N". In the States, of all countries, there is no 'mid' then it comes to N v S. Only in E v W, there you can have a mid. But on the east coast, there are north eastern states and south eastern states and that's it. Virginia being the cutoff

Midatlantic:

New England and North East are the same.

Barney, you live in a place that can't decide if it's French or Canadian so.....you know....focus on that maybe.

Well crap, despite CT being such a small state, Madison is just too far away for me to get to by 5:30 on a weeknight.

Yeah, I was kind of surprised to see how early some of these events were set. That can't be easy for working families to attend, especially if you're not in that town. Well, hopefully there'll be more events in the area over the next year in support of book 2, which'll be out in September.

I think I'm making this with one of my boys in Alexandria. Tried reaching you by private mail but you may not have seen it with your schedule.
