Re: Help a fellow American down on his luck charity drive

My cassette adapter in a 1990 (yes my car reached drinking last year) Mazda is completely stuck in the cassette player it won't play and it won't come out. I just can't see spending a lot of money on putting a high end MP3 or CD player in a 22 year old car so I'm stuck with a lot crappy FM static.

That car is now a "classic". Spend $100 and put a damn CD player in the dash.

Here are some cheap cassette adapter options, including a bluetooth adapter and one that takes sd cards with mp3s on them: s.dealextreme.com/search/cassette+adapter

^^ This. Or even better, hit a couple car shows and see if you can pick up a new tape deck, they usually have a swap meet just off of the show.

Re: Help a fellow American down on his luck charity drive

After Thirstyman absconded with the $1.13 we had raised to get Mr. Barnes his much needed cassette adapter, our efforts began to flounder. Andy apparently believed his need for cheap booze and loose women outweighed Mike's need for music. Who's to say he was wrong.

However, the need still exists. I have included a picture of Mike's newest ride so that your feelings of pity might be aroused. Don't let the high quality wood paneling fool you. This is a man in need of help.
