Apparently, he and his girlfriend were a good match because she was drumming/slapping her legs in excitement as well. I finally had to get up and move. The thing is, I knew there'd be idiots like this at the movie and that somehow I'd end up sitting by them.

I'm torn on this. They are impacting my enjoyment of the movie, which is technically all that matters. But the audience is reacting in a positive manner. I'd take the theater full of "DAMMNNSS" over one with everyone texting on their phone.

People that insist on playing with their phones during a movie should be pimp slapped. Why spend cash on a movie if you're just gonna play with your phone the whole damn time???

I really want to visit the Alamo Drafthouse. It sounds like such an awesome place.

Whew, she sounds like a winner. Thanks for sharing that Superfly! Good for a laugh and further proof that Darwin was onto something.

That PSA from the Alamo place is the most enlightened thing I've seen in a long time. I love that they did that.

Down with texters!

LOL, that's like the best thing I've seen in months. I would totally go to that theatre all the time. I love the music at the end, "YOU'RE WELCOME!" lol

I love the Drafthouse so much. They've got a number of them in SE Texas (Austin, Houston, San Antonio), one in Virginia, and they're opening one each in LA, NYC, and Kansas City.

Though nothing will compare to the feel of the original one in downtown Austin that was built on the third level of an old parking ramp.
