Threads like this, where people whine about not enough people participating in 'real' games.

My response was one of my most thumbed posts I've had though, so I must have done something right.

I've racked my brain to think of what can cause nerd rage for me and I realized that there isn't anything.
It's just me, I need to be in the right mood... if that mood is right than nothing can stop me and anything can cause it.

I'm not particularly passionate about most things and I'm not particularly susceptible to nerd rage, but I AM impatient...
Analysis Paralysis: I hate it. A slow turn or even a few is totally fine, I get that. Sometimes there will be situations when a lot of options present themselves and in those situations there is good cause to put significant mental effort into the actions to be taken. When every turn you take takes an order of magnitude more time than everyone else's then we have a problem. Know what makes a terrible 45-minute game? A 90-minute game. I've confronted slow players who appear to be otherwise intelligent people and the usual response is, "Well I want to make sure I'm making the best/right/optimum/correct play here." The best play is always to recognize that you're engaging in a group social activity, give half as much attention to the other players as you are to your own "optimal play", and hurry-the-fuck-up.
Inattentiveness: This, in gaming and outside of it, drives me nuts. Your turn comes and now you need to assess the situation because you honestly don't know what is going on. Everyone gets a turn, and then everyone gets another turn. This is a repeating phenomenon that results in everyone getting turns, usually in a regular order at regular intervals. You can't anticipate that? Holy shit we have a problem. Outside of gaming you're the person who hits their brakes on the interstate because you just passed your exit. You need an ass-kicking.

If I open wadenels' pantry, I would expect to find it stocked with Minute Rice.

I read that as "wadenels' panties", and for just a moment the (already good) joke was sublimely full of WAT.
