Supposed to be a great movie/documentary about Dr Feelgood by Julien Temple. Love to get me a copy of that.

It was great enough to get me to order Down by the Jetty, Malpractice, and Stupidity off Amazon before the credits finished rolling. I stumbled onto it one night while looking for some background noise while working at 3AM. I ended up working until nearly 8AM because I lost 2 hours to watching it. Well-done documentary but a must-see if you're a fan. Lots of fun inside baseball...err cricket I guess...info and some great footage. The live clips were enough to drive me to pick up the early catalog without a 2nd thought. There are some "look at me" conceits/pretentions on the director's part (documentary directors seem to either go for sappy or arty; this one is "arty") , but it all kind of works so that I wasn't aggravated/distracted by it. It's definitely more than a "VH1 Goes Behind the Music" kind of music doc.

And, get well you wretch. I'm working on my wife to sign-off on a 4-day pass for WBC, so I can't have you dying of some fucking Victorian-era malady caught while traipsing about the Empire. [After covering for Kat's 2.5 weeks in Pakistan and 10 days in Burkina Faso, with one more trip to some similar garden spot inevitably arising before WBC, I expect I'll have banked the necessary "husband/parent points" to exchange for a Get Outta Parenting Gift Card ;) )....

Back at work now, although taking it easy (no different from normal approach then). What a total pain in the chest pneumonia is.

Schweig, thanks for the link but I worry about downloading weird players to my system, in case they infect my PC with the equivalent of what I had. I shall just have to buy it, I think.

Heard there are some young bucks from Ireland, The Strypes, doing lots of Feelgood type things, so when Wilko goes he will have passed the torch.

Don't get fooled by those ads! Usually it should work if you hit just the play button - provided you have Adobe Flash installed. (That's the thing you need to watch youtube videos.)

A paragraph like this makes this video link inevitable, so it might as well be me who does it...

I have adobe flash and when I hit the play button it wants me to install some kind of other player, with ads, unless I'm prepared to pay something, so I'll give it a miss I think.

Thanks anyway.

Dog, thanks for the link but, of course, its hugely inaccurate. You would never have been in the tube station at midnight because last train was 11pm. I was using the tube map to guide me above ground.....

Edit: OK, I got it now, I have to be psychic and click not on the big button that says DOWNLOAD but on the tiny link that says 'free'.

Yeah, those suckers try really hard to leech money off you, although you just want free stuff. ;)
