I saw an interview on Rock Paper Shotgun and posted the link in the Space Hulk thread, but nobody else seemed to pick up. Sounds pretty good, not a true 1:1 translation of the board game, but they threw around the term "XCOM" to have me intrigued. They also mentioned maybe having another GW property, if it's Blood Bowl I will pee my pants.

Count me as slightly wary. The one tactics game they're (inexplicably) famous for was so mediocre it hurt. Interface and design were also fairly poor. They have a second tactics game I never bothered playing, but that wasn't well received, either. I so wish GW gave it to the Rodeo Games guys instead.

That article was painful to read. But I expect most "game journalists" to dimiss the game as a rip-off of god knows what.
Anyways, I would really like a digital version of the game because it looks fun and the boardgame is expensive. An XCOM-like mode could be fun, certainly something that fits the game but the actual implementation could vary greatly.
So yeah, as long as I can play the original game on my screen I'll be happy.
