Anyone else going to stop by FFG's Cosmic Con?

I'm traveling up there with a friend who usually does Arkham Nights with me. I had the nice surprise of having one of the aliens I designed make into the printed fan expansion.

But I'm curious if any local FAT folks will be milling around Cosmic Con ?

That sounds cool, i'd go if I were up there.

Too far for me to make it, but I did visit the event center a couple weeks ago. Place is fucking swank.

I'm not sure if this is always on display there, or if they just brought it out for this event, but they have some amazingly cool artifacts about Cosmic Encounter, like the original hand-written cards, names they were considering, a Parker Brothers version(!) and more.

Looks like they are also doing a few Skype events while the event is going on- one even involves Richard Garfield.

Even though I live just a couple of miles away from the Event Center, I have only been there a handful of times since the new location opened. It's a great facility, but I just don't seem to have enough free time lately and money is also very tight at the moment. Despite being a big fan of Arkham Horror, I have also managed to miss every single Arkham Nights event so far, and there is nothing on their website yet about Arkham Nights 2014.

I was going to go out there this morning as I am jonesing to play cosmic.

But the $25 entry fee is just too much to play a board game. I dont really care to meet vasel, or the designers, or other contributors. At least with arkham nights, you get enough swag to attempt to make the cost not feel so pointless.

I feel exactly the same way. I bet it will be fun and it would be interesting to meet the designers, if only to start a Mayfair vs Original: The Flares discussion. But I just can't get behind paying $25 to drive up there and play Cosmic when I don't have much trouble getting it played at home.

So...With all these people that can/have gone to Arkham Nights...Anyone with some Elder Sign GOO's that can hook a F:ATtie up?

I have one from 2012. Can't recall the name. Plus the event guide and I think the drawstring bag. Have to double check on the extras. I can hook a bro up. No scalping.
