I think that's cool.

There's very few tattoos that I have a modicum of respect for. Military guys getting their branch of service or whatever.

I really get tired of knucklehead millennials thinking that sticking new holes in their head and sleeving their extremities is a unique way of expressing themselves - they look uniquely like the rest of their service job buddies who someday might aspire to becoming a night shift manager. Here's what a ton of ink expresses to me : 'For at least some period of my life I was prone to making really short sighted, juvenile, bad decisions. I may or may not be over that."

I work in graphic design/advertising so amongst creatives it's the norm. So by not having any piercings or tattoos it kind of makes me the rebel amongst the rebellious.

1. Grab the book nearest you, turn to page 18, and find line 4 - what does it say?

"...slave soldiers. These youths are placed under a marshal...."

2. Stretch out your left arm as far as you can. What can you touch?

You didn't specify a direction. My monitor? A curtain?

3. Before you opened this thread what were you doing?

Reading the "Recent Topics" list on F:AT.

4. What is on the wall in the room that you are in?

An Ogre Mk. V poster, a Dogs-Playing-Call_Of_Cthulhu poster, a poster detailing the movements of the Sun Style Taijiquan long form, and a WWE poster turned to December, featuring Rowdy Roddy Piper (RIP).

5. If you could change one about the world regardless of guilt or politics, what would it be?

All politicians are chosen randomly from a pool of people who can pass a citizenship test for their country.

6. What is the last thing you downloaded on your computer?

A character sheet for Swords & Wizardry.

7. What do you think about clowns?

Don't especially care.

8. Do you really know all the words to your national anthem?

No. The USA national anthem has multiple verses, but normally only the first is sung.

9. How many tattoos do you have?

Three. "Pax Et Discordia" on my left gutter (hail Eris etc.), an elder sign on my right gutter (star, not tree), and a yellow sign on my right calf. I'm pretty nerdy.

10. Have you ever won a trophy?

I got a trophy for little league but I don't know where it is now. Either long gone or in my parents' attic. I am the oldest and the least athletic, so my dad's sports energy quickly transferred to my brothers' more normal athleticism. They have a bunch of letters and stuff.

11. How many keys are on your key ring?

I have two key rings, home and work. Home is four. Work is a whole lot, probably 20. I work at a bank and lots of things are controlled via dual locks and other forms of access control.

12. You're at a movie theater with strangers on both sides...which arm rest is yours?

Don't care.

13. Have you ever been professionally photographed? Why?

Does school count? If not, then no.

14. If you could learn any language fluently what would it be?

Quenya.

15. What;s the last condiment you bought?

Sriracha.

16. Do you always wear matching socks?

Yes. I can't not.

17. Do you think Barbie is a negative role model for young girls?

Yes. Besides the body proportion stuff, she is often shown as performing dumb careers.

18. Have you ever eaten Spam (the meat product)?

Yes, but I haven't eaten meat in over two decades so I don't remember it.

19. Do you dislike hairy people?

Not ipso facto.

20. When's the last time you played Twister?

I don't think I ever have.

Most aren't fit to read anyhow. I've found that there are very few people who are good designers, good teachers, and good writers at the same time.

11. Eight keys. Well, actually I have two key rings, but they hooked at each other since two weeks ago. Don't bother to separate.

> 12. You're at a movie theater with strangers on both sides...which arm rest is yours?

Not counting museum IMAX, I haven't been in a movie theater since 2004, and I haven't been in a movie theater by myself since the early 90's (and possibly before that)... so I reject the premise outright. These days, if I found myself in such a situation, I would probably leave.
