Official Post Counting Thread

WE need to be preparing for Pete's 10,000th post thread - Any suggestions? I think it should be on Friday, and there should be a freakout. Perhaps maybe have the 10K post be a blow out where he says he is done with the site/discussion. And 10k1 being the post where his avatar changes and he makes the best dick joke ever.



I think we should do a potluck rather than having it catered.

Yes, after the “10,000th post” post for whomever it was (sorry, my brain is fried today and I’m drawing a blank) I decided to go dark and upon my 10,000th post, there will be a reveal of the new OFFICIAL avatar.

I toyed with the idea of that runner who shit his pants during a marathon (10K is a race distance) but that just didn’t cut it. I also thought a silhoutte of a giant, curved penis might be the one, but that’s too coarse.

I’m down to two.

Sort of like Hotseat’s friends, just two.

The first person to 20k gets gets a glow-in-the-dark Great Old One molded from pure plastic. You pay shipping.

Subtlety is always better. Something you know is offensive but most casual people wont get.

If we’re doing the Best of Pete, he should retell the story of Mayfair games and that Crokinole board that wrecked his table. It’s one of my many favourites.

Even the little stories are gems. That time he talked about trying a new position with his wife where she lies facedown with a pillow beneath her, propping her up... and then very quickly described how mediocre it was. I don’t know why but I couldn’t stop laughing. The whole set up, vivid description and then ultimate and inevitable letdown cuz at the end of the day, let’s face it, you’re still fucking the same person you’ve been fucking for years.
