Wow. They just gave that away.

Agreed on how pleasing it is to say fuck you to Suggs. Especially since he personally had such a great game. Again: FUCK YOU, SUGGS.

I take great solace in the fact that Steelers and Penguins fans must also live with the Pirates.

(PS: I haven't forgotten that I owe you a copy of Wabash Cannonball; I just haven't found the god damned thing yet. However, I'll throw a copy of the expanded Winsome version of Baltimore & Ohio in the box with it whenever I do uncover it.)

The Steelers left that hanging out WAY too much. That should have been an easier game for them.

Well fuck you, Dan Daly. I can only hope that the Steelers will face New England and feel what it's like if the referees are playing against you.

(Yeah, I know that both Housh and Boldin dropped crucial passes, but let me rave for just a moment, please.)

Sag, have you watched any other Steeler-Ravens games? "Easy" doesn't come around too often in the series.

After living through so many disappointments in the Kordell Stewart era it is so...AWESOME having a quarterback who you expect to come through in the clutch. Big Ben has cajones the size of Casey Hampton's fat head.

Oh please- I'll tell you the same thing I just told Shannon Sharpe in regards to officiating...SHUT YOUR MOUTH.

Missed calls both way in that one. Harrison is held on every play. Steelers have gotten jobbed repeatedly this year. If it is New England next week the Steelers have a chance to vault into the position of best team of this era with a victory.

On second thought you have a point. On the replay I saw the ref in there pulling Flaco's hand making him drop that snap.

The Steelers tried to screw themselves the first half. The Ravens tried to do it to themselves the 2nd. All even with a few minutes left and our guys stepped up where yours didn't.

See you at least twice next year.

Even though I'm still pissed I have to say that it's one of the best football games I've ever watched. And even though I think the game was plagued by a lot of calls and non-calls, second half was less so.

I grew up in Pittsburg with the "One for the Thumb" superbowl ring T-shirts.

I don't follow sports. But...

GO STEELERS!

So the half with lots of bad calls...resulted in a 21-7 Baltimore lead. As I said, SHUT YOUR MOUTH.

Reed was hit late repeatedly without it being called even once. Also, the first pass inteference was - when viewed from the couch, that is - really weak. As was the defensive holding called late in the game which helped Steelers score a TD.

Still, that does not change that Ravens had the lead and threw it away. Steelers made an amazing comeback (in the second half where calls and non-calls played a minor role for either team), and, as I said, it was in any way possible - except the outcome - a fabulous game.

Actually he did get a call early on- when he was grabbing Ward's facemask. Should have been offsetting. At least some of the others where Reed was whining for a call that wasn't made was because Ward was blocking him while the play was still in progess. That's not a penalty. That's Ward being Ward. The ball may be nowhere near him, but till the whistle he's allowed to hit you and he does.

Ok, I'll let you go sulk in peace now. I know the feeling. Super Bowl XXX was a dark time in my life.

As far as I'm concerned, the season ended when the Vikings brought back Randy Moss.
