So with ConnCon being the meeting ground for so many Fatties for the first time, we were talking about who does and doesn't live up to the hype. So of the Fatties you've gamed with/met, who was as expected based on their internets vibe?

Starting off...

Steve Avery is exactly as expected. A true party vibe coupled with overwhelming niceness and Southern sensibilities.

Uba is just as expected; A cross between Lily Munster and Morticia Adams with a pottymouth full of bourbon.

Malloc is shorter than expected.

KingPutt is shorter than Malloc and also looks like Tootsie.

Oh, can't miss this one:

Marshall from the Messy Game Room is exactly the sort of drunken nutter of a good time one would expect. They broke the mold when they made him. And then they fired the mold maker!

Everybody I met / came into contact with was about what I expected.

The pink wine was a bit over the top though!

Of all the F:ATties I met for the first time I would have to say Malloc and Avery lined up the most with my expectations.

I am just how I expected I would be.

I only met a couple of F:ATies that I didn't already know, and too briefly to form an opinion as to whether they were what I expected or not.

I'm kind of sad that I didn't get to spend as much time as I wanted to with everyone. Next year I think I have to get there earlier.

I didn't really think too hard about it but I guess people did not match up with my preconcieved notions:

I had met Uba, Kingput, Loter, Malloc, DaveRoswell, and Merkles

-Loter: was more insightful and thoughtful than I had given him credit for.

-Dave: has an absent minded mad scientist vibe. I keep seeing the guy from "back to the Future" superimposed over his face.

-FlimFlam: I expected to be quiet, humorous, thin, understated
instead he was gregarious, engaging, capricous, and looks like the kid next door.

-JoshLook: Thought he would be kinda like his avatar. Short, meek, but witty.
He is huge( 6'4") young, laid back, a little aimless, and well read. Fun to be around

-Octavian: Should have slicked back hair a narrow face with coke bottle glasses. Instead he looked like the lowest tier of frat house guys.

-JasonLutes: Should have been a portly hipster artsy guy with earrings and a Goatee. Instead he was a thoughtful low key thinker with a sharp wit.

I'm not sure if I met Marshal and Leon. Who did I miss?
