When does winter start for you guys? Christmas over here starts as early as October, sometimes even September.

I hope it's Reins of Power, Dune reprint and Borderlands. Gears of War does absolutely nothing for me.

I'm actually really curious about the Gears of War game.

The setting is so generic and useless the game could be ANYTHING.

I'm sure it's getting cold in MN right now.

But Winter, - i'd expect November/December/January.

I'm sure they want to capitalize on Christmas though (Dec 25) and get the games out before then.

Of course in the US shipping comes to a standstill in late December :(

Winter here starts in September, as the first Sinterklaas candy appears on stores. Although the Klaas only arrives halfway November and departs after delivering his presents on December 5th, the craving for gingerbread, chocolate, marsepijn and taai taai is such that it will sell anytime.

It's fluctuating between 40 and 60 in my neck of the woods. It's raining and in the 50's today, but it's supposed to hit 60 tomorrow. Winter is trying to come but not quite.

IIRC from that seminar at Gen Con (video at the FFG site), those were supposed to be new games, not expansions.

They mentioned another big box for Runebound, but not Cosmic I don't think.
