Haunted Village

Common folk think you are a madman – but that's because they fear what they cannot comprehend.

You are a demon-hunter. While neither sword nor bullet can hurt such an abomination, you do have one weapon - the wisdom of those who came before you. Generation after generation of selfless men and women were unknown heroes of an endless war for every human soul. Now you must stand between humanity and these creatures that feast on lust, greed, hatred and other sins. But that is not why you lie sleepless at night. You cannot sleep because you know one simple thing:

You are mortal. They are not.

In Haunted Village, set in 1860, you take on the role of a just awakened citizen. You see the town (3x3 cards placed face down) and feel that something has been changed. You see a book close to you and somehow realize that it will help you in this adventure. You've got to destroy the Demon that brought you here by collecting and slaying ghosts and lost villagers who were killed through their stupidity and now can't find rest in this world. They are angry. Behold mortals! They will come for you!
