    Sweet lord...really?!

Wow, that's a pretty good Lee Van Cleef impersonator narrating the beginning bit.

    THE END IS NIGH!!!!!

Ahem ... well, if this is on the Xboxy thing I might have to pinch my lads old one and have a run at it ... purely for the bomb only of course.

    Unpossible.

I wake up today to see both a Duke Nuke'em Forever release announcement and a note that Peter Forsberg is lacing up his skates and is looking to take the ice with the Colorado Avalanche.

I must have accidentally fallen asleep in Mr. Peabody's Wayback Machine because this sure sounds an awful lot like the year 1997....

Ah the memories... Awesome trailer. 12 years later and still no one does one-liners like Duke. Def looks like he's still out of gum! I like how they made fun of themselves on how long this game has been "in the making". Only thing I didn't like was too much emphasis on private parts.

My wife and I have a belief about movies: If, within 5 minutes of the opening, the movie has any nudity in it, chances are about 100:1 that the movie will be any good, relying on cheap T&A to deliver any real content. We've been wrong a few times, but pretty much spot on.

This, I suspect, will reinforce our concept. They should have let Douche Nougat die.

Why, because he's even manlier than you are?

BTW- it's 2K games...actually, it's Gearbox doing the final development on this- the guys that did Borderlands.

It looks fun, but this year is pretty stuffed with FPS games that look pretty awesome so Duke's going to have to do something to distinguish himself. In particular, Bulletstorm looks like it has a very Duke-esque sense of irresponsible humour.

What's more, I think in 2011 we're going to see some real innovation in the genre. Aside from Bulletstorm, games like Brink, Homefront, Crysis 2, and Rage are all looking extremely promising and all have some new twists and features that could be interesting.

But who am I kidding...of course I'm going to play this stupid game!

awesome trailer - complete with The Prodigy!

The trailer got one thing right:

"Yeah, the game is good - but after twelve fucking years, it should be!"

I'm in. I loved the Duke Nukem games.

Puny game critic, I'll tear off your head and shit down your neck. Hail to the king baby!
