Looks very nice, very clean, as you'd expect from GMT.

Still at $39 preorder price, but likely won't last long. The word from GMT is 1st Quarter 2014 but it may be ahead of schedule.

You never know with oddball stuff like this from GMT, could be excellent.

It does look good...But the rules look to be a bit more than I'm waiting for a racing game. If it was closer to the Leaping Lemming/Manouvre side of the scale I'd be all over this...Perhaps I'm wrong though? Hopefully I'm misjudging the difficulty?

From the videos I've seen about this, it looks like a mid-level racing game. Not as simple as Ave Caeser, not as complex as Leader 1.

I looked at the art for the Watkins Glen track today that they linked on FB. Seemed nice.

Anybody know what scale the spaces are. Micro Machine or Hotwheel sized?

Smaller, and you need to flip the cars as you play. I think thick cardboard is the way to go on this one.

By the way one of the original examples had the green car with the Manoeuvre box cover on it -- game by the same designer and publisher. Looked very sharp. I was hoping they would put all GMT games on the cars like corporate sponsors since it would fit the theme and be kind of cool promotion as well. It doesn't look like that's the case.

I read somewhere, a long time ago, that people were making custom tracks, using Hot Wheels scale cars, and just putting a marker on the car instead of flipping it. Of course, that's not out of the box, and a lot of work, but it still sounds fun. The game sounds slightly too complex for my kids, however.
