Stronghold just delivered Panamax postage-due because they sent it Media Mail and the Post Office upped it to First Class because it doesn't qualify. Might be worth springing for the ground. I suppose this would qualify as "book, at least 8 pages" assuming magazines are covered under the book category. If only we has a seasoned employee of the U.S. Postal Service here on F:At to weigh in on this issue.

It says something like "at your own risk" after the Media Mail shipping option so it might be referring to the possibility of it arriving postage-due, or just shipping really slowly at the least. I upgraded to basic ground because it was worth $3 to me not to have to worry about shipping hassles.

There's only one page (both sides) which needs to be copied.
Character sheets. You could hand write them if need be.

Cards need cutting though.

Plan on doing a vid on this soon.

Rules look great. Only odd thing is it doesn't really explain how shooting at someone who doesn't have a firearm works. I'm guessing the person shot at rolls a die and if they beat the attacker's roll they don't inflict damage?

That's my guess. That they'd add their strength in.

I didn't get the idea that firing on someone let them fire back automagically though -
maybe I'm just filtering out the illogical?

I asked on BGG and Nate responded. It's like Cave Evil, you both roll and if the defender doesn't have a ranged weapon he rolls Strength. You do get to fire back (both roll, add ranged weapon strength).

I played a solo game and it's pretty stellar. Not quite as interesting as Cave Evil, but unique and bearing a penchant for producing moments of exceptional narrative.
