Perhaps he's too modest to post this but this looks fucking amazing.

Allegedly a certain Mr. Barnes was the inspiration.

I don't know exactly what it is about the original counters, but I really, really like them much better than either of the two redesigns that I've seen so far. The originals are incredibly basic, but somehow more thematic: the simple choice of a representative icon and the colour scheme just seems to do it right. I can't explain it.

Knowing his reference stuff, that game will have the best looking, best reading instruction booklet....

He has a crazy good knack for organizing data.

How do you print the board onto 8.5"x11" pieces of paper withour shrinking it?

Shucks, I'm just glad to get people playing the game again...it's one of those that I think will surprise a lot of folks at how awesome it is.

For some reason I can't UH's page to load. I'm sure it looks great though, his work usually does.

I sure hope he fixed the rules and charts a little...those were kind of the "old timey" elements that may be a barrier to entry for some.

Cool. I'm wondering, with these nice graphics available now, if someone might be able to throw together a Vassal module, which would probably help it get played a lot easier than with having to do the PnP thing. I might take a stab at that, myself, except I'm traveling a lot right now and through the summer and don't think I'd have the time. Anybody else with some Vassal skills?

I thought about doing one, but I doubt I will any time soon, especially since there's already a Cyberbox version available.

finally broke out my old copy of this last night and played it...had to punch the tokens and stop laughing at the old AH catalogue where DUNE and Magic Realm were 16 bucks each LOL

What a great game! The inequal sides make this one a real winner.

the rules were a little much right out of the gate, with so many special cases and exceptions but as we got going they were no problem at all. (My opponenet is an ASL-er so he wasn't bothered by the amount of rules)

We can't wait to play again now that we know what's going on.

anyone who hasn't tried this should print a copy and give it a go.

For the record my Robin hood made an overly agressive move and was captured late in the game.
