Do you play AmeriTrash games more than others?

In recent times, do you play AmeriTrash games more than other types of games? How much more? And what would be your ideal ratio?

I see a lot of talk about EuroGames around here, but I'm pretty much done with that kind of game. I'm still willing to play Acquire, an ancient proto-Euro game, but otherwise it's all AT for me. I would be willing to play the occasional wargame, but don't have a strong interest in the historical ones.

Currently:
100% AmeriTrash
0% Wargames
0% EuroGames
0% Abstracts

Ideal:
95% AmeriTrash
4% Wargames
1% EuroGames
0% Abstracts

Man, to be honest, I'll play whatever gets set up on the table in front of me.

But ideally, my split would be:

50% AT
30% Wargames
20% Euro

Well, it's getting less and less easy to distinguish the difference these days. Last games day I played Game of Thrones LCG, Neuroshima Hex, Small World, Dominion, Arkham Horror, and Formula D. That's probably about the ratio I prefer, with Dominion and Small World being Euroish. I would love to get more (light) wargaming in as well. C&C:A, Twilight Struggle, A Most Dangerous Time, Conflict of Heroes, etc...

There are still some Euros I really like, though. Through the Ages, Imperial, Shogun, Race for the Galaxy...

AT - 50%
CCG - 40%
War - 5%
Other - 5%

This is because most of my gaming has been happening at home. I'm going to be attending a friends game night again though which will significantly increase the Other category.

Currently:
50% AT
35% Euro
15% Abstract

I'd like to maybe have it around:
65% AT
25% Euro
10% Abstract

But I'm just glad to be gaming, honestly. It's taken a while to get good games that I like that can actually hit the table consistantly.

The real heroes have been: LNoE, Dominion, and Blokus.

I'm having trouble finding the time to play games at all lately but what I am playing is probably around 50% AT and 50% other. The "other" refers to eurogames and things like Texas 42 (a trick-taking dominoes game). I have also been playing games like Dominion and Pandemic and I'm not quite sure how to categorize those. I'm not comfortable just throwing them in with the eurogames.

Ideally, I'd like to be playing 70% AT and 30% other. I'm not ready to throw out the eurogames yet, but I've gotten tired of them. I think it would help if I went back and played the older ones that I used to really like such as E&T, Samurai, Union Pacific, etc. It's all those new economic engine games that given me a case of burnout, I think. I also would like to dabble some more with light wargames like Memoir '44, C&C: Ancients and some of the Columbia block games like Hammer of the Scots.

Most euro games make me want to kingmake to end the pain.

But then, that would be player interaction. Can't have that!

lately, 60% trash, 10% LCG, 30% rpg. I of course just made those numbers up.

This is of course, completely ignoring my MMO addiction and Steam.

Oh, yeah. Same here, for the MMO addiction. I also left out the D&D 4e campaign I'm in because I forgot.

80% AT
19% Wargames
1% Euro

I've been enjoying wargames tremendously but due to lack of opponents I've been looking into more solo wargames.

I'd still play Tigris & Euphrates, Carcassonne or Vegas Showdown in a heartbeat.

I keep away from euros whenever possible - I still have some I like and I may play the odd other one in a group if they play an AT or similar (but I'm just about to sell a classic, Wallenstein, so that speaks for itself):

AT - Lots
Wargames - Some
Euros - when I'm short of sharp sticks to introduce to my eyeball

I know Uba talks about playing with kids...but not that many others on here do.

I rarely think about the type of game, truthfully. 75% of my gaming is with my family--and my son--these days...so whatever we play together is fine. Even if it is really a P.O.S., it can be fun with the family.

Example: We were camping in Colorado last week and we brought along a game that was a throw-in in a math trade (in which I got Star Wars: Epic Duels). That game was Snowball Fight--something you probably never heard of. But--though simplistic, etc. etc.---it was a blast to play with the family. Quick and the kids had fun...and so did I. Played Settlers Card Game and Lightning: Midway with my son multiple times during the rain under the canopy, too.

I'd guess I play 1/3 war games, 1/3 AT, 1/3 Euro (but not very mathy Euros like Settlers, Mystery in the Abbey, Ticket to Ride)

My whole group cut their teeth on Games Workshop or Milton Bradley games, and most of us tuned out during the Euro invasion, so we don't play very many Euros. Every once in a while, one of us will get curious and pick up something like Puerto Rico or Power Grid, but that's about as far as it goes.

For us, it's:

AT: 95%
Euros: 2%
Wargames: 2% (except during a brief and intense love affair some of the group, NOT ME, had with Tide of Iron)
Abstracts: 1%

That's a good enough distribution for me, though I would always like to get more gaming in.

AT 40%

Wargames 40% (would be higher if I had more people to play with)

Euro's 10% (Kids)

Other kids games 10%

now it's about
70% AT
20% wargames
10% euros
and a bit of abstract (our Hive-and-beer contest)

which is about my ideal numbers. The euros are Indonesia, Acquire and Dungeon Twister - I like them all as they are full of conflict and tension.

Does "Hide the Weasel" count as a game?
