This is very true. Also, eventually you figure out who your favorite folks are in the group and invite them over for some gaming at your place. That's how our F:AT Thursday group was born. It takes some time, but is well worth the effort.

The top two are REALLY great friends of mine and super awesome dudes. Knowing them alone will be provide enough gaming fun for several lifetimes. Dignan has a weekly game night at his house, which is both a palace and has a game room that seats 16 comfortably. He runs tournaments from this friggin room.

I went to a local game store this weekend for their Sunday game day. 2 people. Both playing Terra Mystica, about halfway through the game. I hung for 20 minutes to see if anyone else would show, but none did. Oh well. Hopefully it will be better after good weather is over.

I'm regularly X-Winging on Saturdays these days, but I've had a group playing Wiz-War pretty frequently on Sundays who can always be talked into something else. There's also a regular group that meets on Wednesday evenings at Fun4All in Ypsi. I haven't been in a while, but it's supposedly gotten really big, so I may start checking in with a couple things I haven't played in a while.
