This looks...different. Anyone give it a shot? I've liked previous games from Lester 'Dragon Dice' Smith, so doing a little research on his other titles last night, I came across this game.

I was not aware of it. Minimalist micro rpgs are sort of in vogue atm in some parts. Its not quite this lean but i do like Swords and Wizardry White box which is DnD on the back of a post it note.

its basically starship troopers the 1 shot rpg. You have two character stats - fighting, and not fighting.

Whilst these micro games can be a lot of fun, they can wear thin fast.

I agree. I bought up about 5-6 TWERPS books in the late 80's. Characters only have one stat...Strength. Anyway, I was planning on doing this super-hero, post apoc mash-up, but after playing two one-off sessions....I was done.
