Yay!! I am accidently on the mailing list for private invites to the British Embassy.

This is a clerical error but WTF!! Normal people can't go to the embassy for a beer unless it is an advertised evening and your company has an allotment of tickets to distribute....except for me... due to aforementioned clerical error.

Apparently, I am an honoured member of the club (otherwose known as the internal pub in the embassy).

Hence got arseholed watching football tonight (and I hate football...but I can bluff sports pretty good) mmmmm Bushmills and beer all night. Apparently, I am so fabulous that I am allowed to go to all other 'events' they have for members only. Looking forward to many more slavering beer evenings.

Obviously, I spent most of the evening schmoozing with the people that write the emails. This is so my rep is that high they wouldn't even think of leaving me off the list of honourable members.

For those who live in an alcohol available country, this won't be a big deal. Trust me, in TKWIL this is a fucking big deal!!!
