The miniatures cut well, and can be formed (read:defuckingwarped) in hot tap water. They take both craft and vallejo paints well sans primer. That said, the translucent haunts suck ass. They require brush on primer or a coat of cleat matte acrylic to have paint stick, Not happy about that part,

Shadowing. If you put inks in the deep spots, they don't look like such total shit. Same with highlighting.
OH....one more update:
WASH WASH WASH these models in warm, soapy water and make sure you do a good job. I'm even tempted to break out an old teethbrush (only in West Virginia is it a toothbrush) and scrub them. Tried to paint the Nova Corp soldiers as Vault Security last night and the paint rolled off a few as I didn't wash them adequately (which is surprising as I put them in a tupperware container loaded with soap and water and shook the balls off them).
So, be now warned.
