Yeah! Let's make a thread about this because I'm bored and lonely and need people speaking into my ear :)

You should listen to Ludology, assuming you're into dry, overwrought dissections of games that takes away all sense of wonder and magic.

Although on our last episode (posted yesterday), I had a very interesting conversation with Quintin Smith from Shut Up and Sit Down about The Betrayer's Banquet, which used the Prisoner's Dilemma to determine who got the good food and who got swill. A flawed, but cool experiment.

On the non-gaming side I regularly listen to Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me, The Thrilling Adventure Hour, and Planet Money.

Only a few.

The Art of Wrestling with Colt Cabana

Hardcore History with Dan Carlin

I used to enjoy The Messy GameRoom tremendously. Since its demise, I've followed Marshall over to Advance After Combat, but there's a personality on there I am not a fan of and turns me off quite a bit. I wish The Messy was still around.

I used to listen to podcasts all the time, but at my current job it's just not feasible on a regular basis. My favorite gaming podcast was definitely Game On! with Cody and John. Either Cody or John has posted on here a couple of times, but I loved that one.

These days, on the rare moments when I get to listen to them, I like WTF with Marc Maron and Judge John Hodgman.

I never miss the Giant Bombcast, and often listen to the Caustic Soda podcast, and the Plaid Hat Games podcast.

Every week:
RadioLab
This American Life
The Moth

I would probably listen to a pdocast of nothing but NPR program staffers saying their names. Look at some of these: Kai Rysdall, Chana Joffee-Walt, Barbara Bradley Hagerty, Andre Codrescu, Jad Abumrad, Korva Colman, Stefan Fatsis, Nell Greenfieldboyce, Ofebia Quist-Arcton, and of course, Doualy Xaykaothao. It's like character creation screens come to life!

Every so often (also, I listen to these at 1.5x speed, they are loooong):
The Savage Lovecast
This Week In Despair
Gamers With Jobs
Videogame Hangover

I really want to plug the FATcast, but I know we have been having trouble putting out episodes on a regular basis. Fear not though, because VERY SOON our new recording studio will emerge like the phoenix from the ashes and we will be back to producing the most ridiculous podcast in all of gaming.

you have got to check out the Steve Austin Thursday podcast. Nearly as heartfelt and every bit as entertaining as colt.

Bull, I've heard Austin's is pretty good, and his appearance on AoW recently was pretty good, but I only have so much time to dedicate to podcasts. That and I figure Austin is already swimming in cash. Colt has kind of been the trailblazer in wrestling podcasts and that has enabled him to create a livelihood as an independent wrestler. I fear once all these main eventers start podcasting, Colt may take a big financial hit. I hope I'm wrong, but will continue to do my part.

Attrition, I thought Point 2 Point was done. Are they still around?
