Last year, I saw a smattering of Trashy games at EQ. Just wondering if people are considering going this year.

Euroquest = A European-Style Gaming Conference
November, 6 - 9, 2008
Days Hotel
9615 Deereco Road
Timonium, Maryland 21090

I don't know my exact plans but I should be there about 1/2 the time this year. I've already warned the directors of Euroquest that I was going to sneak in and pirate a trashie splash damage no fraking meeple zone / Corey Konieczka fan club area and play Starcraft, Battlestar Galactica, Warrior Knights, Twilight Imperium and World of Warcraft. As it gets closer to the date we'll plan our rebel action.

I'll bull my way through the tables sending countless games of Meepile to the floor and leaving many a Monarch Unimpressed with their building efforts for another round of Starcraft. :cheer:

Oh hells yes.

And I am absolutely working hard to get a decent prototype together of my new adventuring game for anyone brave enough. Still got a ways to go, but this is one of my hard deadlines I'm forcing myself to meet =)

Also, I need to play starcraft. Seriously. No shitting around this time, KingPut. All the Galactic Emperors in all of Maryland couldnt keep me away this time.

Also, BSG seems badass even though I dont know the source material.

Sooooooo, yeah. I'M IN.

I'll be there.
And I'm hoping to get a non-marathon game of American Megafauna in.

Despite the name there will be a large subcontingent of trashers.

One more Euroquest-y question (request)

Anyone knows anybody looking for roomies? I don't think I could go this yr. without splitting a room.

Replied by KingPut on topic Math trade at Euroquest
Somebody posted a no shipping cost math trade at Euroquest.

Here it is:

I'm Running a no-ship no-risk math trade for Euroquest over at
Boardgamegeek. com. Here is a link to the trade list:
http://www.boardgam egeek.com/ geeklist/ 35698 full instructions are
included there.

For those of you who have never participated in a math trade let me
offer a brief explanation:

1. You add games that they are willing to trade to a geeklist. Here
is a link to the list:

http://www.boardgam egeek.com/ geeklist/ 35698

2. After the list closes (in this case: midnight, Tuesday, October
28) you submit a "wantlist" for each game (how to do that is
described over on the list at BGG - see the link above). You may
list any other game that you are willing to take for each game that
you originally listed "for trade" in step 1. You also have the
option of submitting a "blank wantlist" for a game - which means you
will not take any offer for the game and have decided not to trade it.

3. Everyone's offers and wants are put in a computer program that
was created by a member of BGG a while ago and the program matches
up "wants" with "offers" to maximize the number of trades.

4. We meet at Euroquest to give and receive games that were
successfully traded (thus it is a "no ship" math trade). Some of the
games you offer or request may not be matched and therefore do not
result in trades. In most cases, you end up giving a game to one
person and receiving a game from another, thus creating more
possibilities for successful trades.

I want to make it clear that this trade is in no way sponsored by
GCOM, Boardgamegeek or any other entity. I'm managing the list and
running the program – I'm the sole sponsor.

Best Regards and Happy Trading,

Pierce
