Bugs: Recent Topics Paging, Uploading Images & Preview (11 Dec 2020)

Recent Topics paging, uploading images and preview bugs require a patch which has not yet been released.

× WELCOME TO TRASHDOME!

This is part of a series of bloody matches to the death. Show support for your favorite game so it will do better in the fight. You can support it by writing why you think its the better game and more importantly by betting (i.e. voting for) it. Please make it clear for when I check the bets later. You have until Friday when I tally the bets and declare the winner. I will reserve my bet for any tie-breakers.

Although you should be familiar with both games, there is no rule that says you have to have played both of them. The only rule in Trashdome is this;

Two games enter! One game leaves!

Ameritrash Championship: Dune vs. Cosmic Encounter

I think Clearclaw really did post here once years ago, to accept an award for Fun Murderer of the Year.

That's really ClearClaw. Or someone so good at impersonating him and then NOT impersonating him for years that we should count it anyway. I assume it's really the man. Which I have to tell you causes me no end of cognitive dissonance. I am pretty sure he was my first non-racist PLONK over at BGG (since joined by many more!). The guy is a douche. But then he posts here twice in five years to accept his fun murdering awards and throw a vote to DUNE, which is cool. But he's a douche, but he's cool, but she's my sister, but she's my daughter, {{SLAP}}.

...What were we talking about?

mjl1783's post at the top of page ten kept the tie going. We then had Not Sure voting Cosmic, followed by Frank Herbert Estate and Clearclaw cancelling each other out. KingPut then says "I'm breaking the tie and voting for DUNE." But there was no tie at this point as Cosmic Encounter was one vote in the lead. Therefore KingPut's vote creates a tie. And as he observed "There is no shared victory in Ameritrash (crap I forgot both Dune and CE can have shared victory condition)." this seems appropriate.
