I actually think ghostbusters would make a much better city scale adventure game a la Arkham Horror rather than a tactical game.
I think that is definitely true -- a city scale adventure (even like Marvel Heroes) would be pretty good for Ghostbusters. I'll have to thank about the KS. Just yesterday, I dressed down my three graduate students because they have never seen Ghostbusters.

Just received my Kickstarter copy of Horror on the Orient Express for Call of Cthulhu. First thing first - the expected delivery date was August 2013 so they missed that by a little bit, but damn this is an impressive product - especially for the price paid by the kickstarters. Shipping on the 8lb box to Canada was just a bit less than my pledge amount, so hopefully they did all right on it over all. I'm not too fussed over all the little extras that got included (fake passports, etc.), but close to 1000 pages of material over 6 books (including the book of handouts) should make for an interesting chunk of reading.

Just checked them out. Not digging the cartooniness (not even a word, but fuck it, this is the FORT) of them. I'd like to get a bunch of Larry Elmore style fantasy trope images and make some...that would be aces!
After much soul searching, I backed Conan. I don't think I'll regret it. Based on the rules, it looks like a fun system with minimal fuss. And for the money, you get a hell of a lot of stuff. Also, Conan's world is awesome.
