What MOVIE(s) have you been....seeing? watching?

White, the fact that blast shield helmets come in child -size was another problem with that scene. It's my favorite scene of all the prequels when you're looking to show what Lucas has done wrong

I just like the idea of a dozen or so five-year-olds blindfolded and swinging around light sabers in close proximity. That Yoda is a sick fuck.

I watched all three LotR movies, extended editions, in a row...twice. (several months apart)
I don't really have any desire to ever see the movies again. It was fun, but...yeah.

I liked Chappie, but it's essentially an R-rated family film. Not a great financial move, I don't think.

I made a mistake.

Painted some minis and watched two movies I haven't seen. Inglorious Basterds and Expendables 3.

I should have watched Two Towers...again...

It was ok, but it's something you have to pay attention to. Not a good movie to see for the first time while also trying to paint some minis.

Expendables 3 was garbage.

If I put on Two Towers I could have just listened along while I played with the little men.

yeah, Expendables is terrible. You're right about Basterds, you have to be totally engaged to watch it. It's incredibly stressful to watch and you really want to be feeling the tension in some of those scenes. Love that flick.

Watched Dale and Tucker vs. Evil. Perhaps Tucker and Dale, I don't remember. This film had a couple of minor laughs in it, but for the most part it fell flat for me. The whole thing is held together with a "this is all one big misunderstanding" plot that wasn't even novel back when Three's Company did it every week.

I'm kind of mixed on Inglorious Basterds, but I do think the entire sequence in the tavern is perhaps the best thing Tarantino's done to date. The writing is incredible (there are so many layers of delicious awkwardness in that scene) and, as a language nerd, I love how everything in that scene hinges on languages and accents.
