Playing Plague Inc.

The goal is to kill the world population by evolving a disease. There are seven or eight different diseases that you unlock by successfully eliminating the world population with the prior disease. So far, I am still stuck on Bacteria -- 7 plays and missed winning by 200,000 people. The game is ridiculously difficult.

I got it. You're not missing much. Nothing will ever replace the joy of playing Magic face to face.

Yeah I finally found it. Such a shame. It's really not available on iPhone\Touch.

Shitloads. Dungeon Hunter 2... which is just like part 1. Idnetical. Basically a Diablo clone but it's fun for what it is, if totally mindless. Infinity Blade 2... interesting. I haven't had it click for me yet, no addiction. But it looks great and it's sort of fun. Maybe one day.

I picked up Forbidden Island and played it a couple of times. Kind of a dull game, not much to it. It's ok for a play or two but gets boring quickly. Mostly I play Battle Academy which is fucking stellar. Just a great game and it lets me get my war game on without any overhead or admin. It's a fun distraction and maybe the best iPad game I've played yet.. fuckin better be for 20$. Although that disc flippin race track thing is great too.

Still waiting on Summoner Wars. That should be awesome.

Everything can be unlocked through campaign progression. There's no need to pay a dime ... provided you've got a fair amount of time.

We've got some good players here (*cough*not you, Jeb*cough*), so I'd be intrigued if any of y'all want to sign up. I do issue this one warning: a commitment is expected. The goal for every player is to play 38 games in four weeks (with games being played simultaneously, of course). So, in all seriousness, if your next couple of weeks are super-busy, it's probably best to wait for the next one.

I don't play anything electronic for 25 hours per week AND I am going to Cape Cod & environs from July 4 to July 17, so I am out. Also, I suck now.

As for being on topic, I am rocking SpaceChem Mobile, Scramble Free, QRANK on the reg.

No, I think hotseat's right. Here's the deal:

[Free] Game includes:
3 decks with 5 unlockable cards each
Single-player campaign across the plane of Shandalar
4 deadly opponents, including the Planeswalker Garruk Wildspeaker
Encounters, a new feature in which you test your skills against different preset AI strategies
Planechase mode, which changes the rules with a randomized deck of cards based on the planes of the Magic Multiverse

Additional content is also available for purchase. Premium content package will get you:
7 additional decks to unlock
250+ additional cards unlockable through play
18 additional Campaign levels across the planes of Ravnica, Alara, and Innistrad, plus 11 revenge matches and 3 Planechase battles.
10 puzzling challenges
Online one-on-one Multiplayer play
Two-Headed Giant and Custom game modes
Pit yourself against the Multiverses ultimate evil mastermind, the dragon Planeswalker Nicol Bolas, in the single-player campaign
Access to deck key and foil conversion in-app purchases
Additional downloadable content as it becomes available

Shandalar is only the first four battles in the campaign, so the other content can't be accessed without paying. The AI was locked on the lowest level, too.

Paying for the full game doesn't unlock the other decks or cards right away, BTW, it only gives you the ability to unlock them through play. There is additional IAP beyond the $10 that you can pay ($0.99 per deck) to immediately unlock everything in that deck.

Makes more sense, the base game is $9.99 on Steam, there is no free component.
