Goddamn I am into SPACECHEM right now. This is like Lego. They just dump a pile of widgets on the table and say go make some acetylene. A puzzle game that is not for people that think finding hidden objects is a "puzzle."

As for MtG DotP 2013: it's not like MtG. You can't build a deck--you can tuuuunea deck they give you. There is some algorithm for land% and some algorithm to prevent a mulligan based on mana costs and lands in hand. Also, they are obsessed with fatties (like 7+cc) and lifegain. Anyone that has played MtG for a decent amout of time will experience some frustration as they slowly accumulate enough cards to get rid of the 8cc 7/8 flyerS in the blue deck for example.

There are some options to turn off animations and set holds, but it would be better if the latter were more granular. You can set ALL the holds to be manually cleared, or NONE. Sometimes you just want the endstep. Sometimes combat. Oh well.

I prefer the iPad interface immensely to the console controller.

The best MtG experience is still MTGO, which is just MtG with electronic cards. It's expensive as hell though.

Also, sadly, a lot of Magic players are found there.

Or, like my dad used to say: "Paris was great, except for all the French people."

I just discovered this sweet little free game "Tiny Tower". Holy crap, adorable and super addictive.

Tiny Tower quickly devolves into 'give us money to do what you should be able to do'. I'd rather pay 2.99 for a complete game.

It's the first free-play game I have ever had the urge to pay for bux on, but I have resisted. If you just take your time and have patience, you can do everything and get all the achievements without paying real cash. I see you have\had a pretty good start to your tower.

Same developer just released Pocket Planes, which is apparently some form of digital nicotine:
