IT takes me forever because by god I'm going to clear my cards or numbers every single time.

Calculords is just about as far away from "fun" as I can possibly imagine, barring gall bladder surgery or a viewing of "The Sorrow and the Pity".

That's what I mean. I assumed I should be faster at it.

I just got the Lords of Waterdeep app, and have played it a couple of times. It's really well done, but I wish they'd been more ambitious with it. It's pretty much a photocopy of the boardgame, complete with cubes and faceless little meeples for your "agents." Why not change the graphics on those cubes to actually depict wizards and clerics and so forth? Why not have your agents be skulking cloaked figures lurking in the shadows??

The AI is pretty tough. All my games have been close, and I've only won once. I got my ass handed to me a couple of times too.

I tried Calculords and found it really really boring.

Then it expanded into a deck-building game with a math exercise mechanic. Then I quit as fast as possible, and I don't think I'll ever go back.

Doing math problems isn't how I want to move my guys. Deck-building is not what I want from my mobile games. Deck-building is generally not what I want at all, though. If you like that, and enjoy doing simple algebra a lot, that's the game for you.

Out There is really cool, though.

(wait, I agree with Barnes. something must be wrong...)

Just to stoke that fire, I think Out There is pretty good too.

Does anyone remember that age of sail naval game that came out a while ago that was like wooden ships/iron men, but had only a few units? It was simple, a bit rough, then was updated and got very difficult. I'd like to re-download it but have forgotten the name.
