Just saw it. Goddamned brilliant movie. The less said the better though, which sort of sucks. Super Whedon-y, Barnes would hate it. Clever is a good thing, folks. Stick to Zack Snyder and Michael Bay if it's too much for you.
But yeah. Holy shit, what a great movie.
EDIT-Wrong forum, fuck. Can somebody please move it?
I saw it this past weekend. I think it was good, not great or anything. It definitely had some interesting ideas in it. Overall though it suffers from Whedons usual of not wanting to be too geeky so that he could please as many people as possible. I hate that guy. If it was done by someone else, it probably would have been an amazing film.
Why would any half-competent organization ever, ever make a button to release all the monsters? And if they did why would they it right next to the exit where the monsters go in/out? It is just unbelievably stupid.
Mine as well, but it didn't deter me from enjoying the shit out of the movie. Very well done, and yes... very Whedonesque, but not overly so. I think it gave the film more character.
