The Avengers Rocks
Couldn't agree more. Hell, I don't even remember it that well. The love it gets is utterly lost on me; I wouldn't put it in the top five of any superhero movie list.SebastianBludd wrote: As for Spider Man 2, I liked it when it came out but I don't think it's aged well. It's so serious and tragic and heartfelt that it really starts to grate upon repeat viewings.

Hawkeye, World’s Worst Archer?
First: Avengers is excellent. It is a superhero comic brought to life - no depth, all flash and nostalgia and action and heartless banter and melodrama. Loved it.
Second: Fucking "Olympic style" pansy-ass compound "bow" "archers" should in no fucking way tell anyone how to shoot anything. Compound "bows" are pretty much only useful on the range, or from a blind. Shooting in a dramatically-changing environment is vastly different from shooting on the range, and there's a reason that Howard-Motherfucking-Hill...
( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howard_Hill )
... did not use a compound bow. Howard Hill, Badess-assed Archer of All Time, used a longbow. Then DC created Green Arrow, based on Howard Hill. Then Marvel created Hawkeye based on Green Arrow, still with a longbow. Then those Marvel Movie folks decided longbows didn't look hip enough, so they gave him a compound bow. Which makes no sense, but looks cool when Hawkeye does the flicky thing to get his groove on.
That said, Renner's back elbow should really be level, and his arm shouldn't be locked (which is the problem, not 'elbow orientation').
Also, Green Arrow > Hawkeye.

Maybe I missed it, but up until the Hulk fell off the airship, he was uncontrollable rage monster, and then once the battle started, Banner seemed to be in complete control while in Hulk form. What changed?
Also, was is it just me, or did the alien carrier ships looks like they were straight out of Gears of War?

They edited out The Hulk's 'Come to Jesus' moment with Harry Dean Stanton in post-. It was a poor decision. In the current edit, there really is no answer to your question.
