I'm more excited about THIS than Batman v. Superman

It just looks really, really fun. I hope there's something to it besides the trailer highlights.

I've been really excited about this movie. Josh Trank seems to be a promising director, I'm a big Michael B. Jordan fan, and I'm just really ready for a well done Fantastic Four movie.

Is this thread going to have an infinite number of things in it?

Not too bad. Could be good. At least it looks FUN and faithful to the characters. There's jokes! It's not DARKNESS...DARKNESS...DARKNESS...NO PARENTS...

Long ago, there was talk of there being a FF film in the writing stage that was going to be set in the 1960s...I really wish that had come to fruition. The problem with FF is that they really worked the best in that era, which is why they are one of the few comics properties that hasn't improved over the decades. That original FF material is still awesome, and nothing since has been that good.

I'm definitely looking forward to my work day tomorrow more than Batman vs. Superman.

That is a good trailer. I guess we can't quit retelling the Pinocchio story, but they seem to do a good job of it.

I won't go over all the bullshit about the final fight scene again, it's been done ad nauseum. Just the idea that it seemed that Superman was more concerned with attacking Zod than defending the citizens of Metropolis. Compare it to Avengers, where there was an amazing amount of damage done to the city, but you had them helping innocents escape.

i remember reading about people being upset that Superman was trying to kill in Man of Steel and he's never supposed to do that. Is that basically what was going on there? He was more concerned about killing Zod than doing good things?

More concerned about the fight than the consequences of the fight. Superman should always be the protector, willing to stop -- even if he has the advantage -- if people are in danger. All these buildings collapsing, thousands of people dying, and he just keeps up the fight.
