OK, the operation went well and everything should be good as new in a couple of weeks. But the finger still hurts and I can neither write nor draw.

I thought about drawing a cartoon with my left hand, but I'm sort of a perfectionist, so doing that would take - I guess - at least 5 hours, because I would want them to look like I used my right hand.

The healing process takes about six weeks, so I think it would be perfect if Juniper ran his Ted Allsevens series instead of my cartoon.

You hear that Juniper? You need to stop gloating about your 500th post and get some 7s in order.

It's good to hear that the operation went well, Schweig.

Somehow I suspect Brian Barling may be at the bottom of this plot to shut down Schweigs cartoons!

Kind of like how Nancy Kerrigan had her kneecap busted before the Olympics. You may be on to something here.

I'm writing a pseudo-important test on Wednesday, so maybe/probably I will have to delay drawing this week's cartoon until Thursday.

Also a request: Could the titles of the cartoons please appear on the front-page again?
