Having not followed the sport/league beyond the last couple of years, I always kind of wondered why Harry was so beloved when, frankly, his teams always seem to, well, stink up the joint in that "too good for the Championship but not quite good enough for the Premier League" kind of way. This story certainly illuminates some of the "Our Harry" sentiments I couldn't really fathom previously.

On an unrelated note, if you want to add özil to your fantasy team, note that the fucking search *only* works if you have the umlaut in there. He's on Arsenal's roster as of today, though--and I doubt that 6.32 price will last long once he takes the pitch. (I'm looking forward to seeing how this is going to work with Arsenal fielding a team with 2 choice playmakers in Ozil and Cazorla alongside a "never met a shot he didn't like" mid in Walcott and kind of no strong striker up front. I like Giroud, but he's not really a scary scoring machine like RvP. Kind of surprised Edin Dzeko didn't end up moving there 10 seconds after City signed Negredo, who seems to be an order of magnitude better when it comes to moving both with and to the ball.

Stupid Yahoo interface jacked me up this week.

I'd put captain on Cech instead of RvP. Somehow despite showing the nice yellow C, I must not have done a save or something. RvP was still marked as captain. So instead of doubling a reasonable 12, I got to double a nice 0. To 0.

Oh well, still a decent 100+ week. RvP pulling up with a mystery injury sucked, and Benteke didn't pay off, but everyone else pulled their weight.

Yeah, both RVP and Walcott pulled out on me at the last minute. And for some reason I picked Carl Jenkinson for a defender, Sagna has been forced to play CB so often this season I forgot we actually had two available starting CBs. Whoops. And I had Benteke too. Still, decided to captain Aaron Ramsey, although Özil scored two more points in fantasy land, and 121 points isn't bad.

I don't like on this new interface the inability to see how many points each team earned in a week.

You can see it (when they bother updating around Tuesday), but you have to click on each stupid team in a week. The old table view was much better for seeing who was trending over a few weeks and what the loss/gain was.

I think I'm on 113 for the week. Would have been 125 if the captain had stuck. Derp.
