Yes, this, totally. The trouble is that I don't feel up to the task of being that person, getting it wrong and potentially screwing up the game for everyone (and thereby ensuring it never gets played again). I'd like someone else to teach it to me first.

This game is still in print in German and costs less than €20.

I've been looking out for a second-hand copy of it here in NZ for a while, but it is RARE here. I'd be over the moon if someone like Stronghold decided to reprint it.

Our game group is nicknamed the KGB so this would be kind of a flagship game for us.

Thanks Clockwirk...the check is in the mail.

The game is a mean mafia themed area control game(Thanks for the idea Steve Bonnocore!) You place influence on gangsters as they move up the chain toward Capo. Each position has money, respect, and a special ability which is added to the base money and respect of the gangsters. Players use their influence and special abilities to seize control of other gangsters or eliminate them. The game goes 8 turns and whoever has the most respect at the end wins.

I want to get away from straight VPs so I've been working on Reputation Cards that are 'storyline' of the events that happen to the player. The combination of rep cards + Respect would determine the winner. They are not quite done yet.

We just finished in house playtesting and are moving to blind playtesting. If you're interested I'll email you when I have the files ready in Dropbox.

We're going over revisions and now Tom is going to do another in house playtest then open it up to people who are interested via Dropbox.

I'll also print out a few pretty copies when I can afford it. Here are some pix

BTW the 'vote' token pictured has been replaced with a blackmail mechanic. Much of the game relies on cooperation and deal making. The game can function fine w/o it but it adds a lot IMHO.

Thanks for the shoutout!

Getting the low ink files togehter tonight. I'll put them in a dropbox and invite anyone that wants to try it. If you want the 'pretty' version I can make that availbe but it will doubtlessly change.
