OMFG- Mushroom Eaters

So the pre-order thingy for this ended over the weekend, and the final tally was a bit over 250 copies. That means he'll be doing a manufacturing run of about 500 copies, as well as tweaking the speaking system with some additional rules and components he wasn't able to get into the initial run.

He's saying October as a potential delivery date, but I'll be happy to see it before Christmas.

I didn't see it before Christmas. But it just came in anyway. Holy hell is this thing a thing. The board with the glasses on is a massive trip. My wife couldn't deal with it for more than a few seconds. I'm still trying to figure out which way I prefer wearing the glasses. Putting them on the way the board says makes it look slightly less "good" than the opposite way, but it probably doesn't matter, ultimately. Both ways are seriously crazy.

No idea when I'm going to play this, but I'm glad I own it.

I wanted to detail the journey of my game so far, I'm convinced it is out in the wild trying to find itself:

-Jan 2nd: Picked up and Departed Littleton, CO
-Jan 2nd: Arrived and Departed Aurora, CO
-Jan 4th: Arrived and Departed Kansas City, KS
-Jan 9th: Arrived and Departed Denver, CO
-Jan 10th: Arrived in Kansas City, KS

...No updates as of this moment. It's final destination is Kansas City, MO. Is there some reason why it refuses to cross the Missouri River? Does iced over flowing water a draw or repellant to that which is on a spiritual quest?

Man, the one time I drove through KC to go to Lawrence we got lost. Highways seemed to circle and not go simply North/South or East/West like they do here in St. Louis so we had a hell of a time figuring out where the hell we were going (this was pre-GPS days). Luckily we made it in time to see Nile.

I don't know if your Mushroom Eaters will make it in time to see Nile though.
