Sons of Anarchy game

I just got a shipping notice that GF9 is sending me Sons of Anarchy. Very excited. Same team that did Spartacus and Firefly. With TV becoming such a big deal, I think these guys are right on it to license up these shows. Smart move.

Anyway, I just looked at the rules online and I was really kind of surprised to see that it sounds actually quite a lot like Deadwood. Similar core concept- send dudes to locations to get the benefit, shoot other dudes if they're there before you. Play bullets/guns to get a bonus. Dudes have different values (3 in DW, 2 in SOA).

There's some other stuff going on, more options beyond play a dude or withdraw them. But it looks really fun and even though I don't know a god damned thing about the show it seems like it'll still be a great crime/gang game.

Funny that you're selling dufflebags full of unspecific "contraband"...

They're also coming out with a Homeland game. I'm excited for that one as well.

Sounds like future classic Euro material.
