Did any of you guys get a BGG mail asking you to playtest a new game for Fantasy Flight Games?

If they lurk here at all, the only thing I expect in the mail from FFG is maybe a relative's severed finger.

I'm quite positive that FFG reads F:AT, and also that they do playtest recruiting on BGG.

I was contanted some time ago to see if I was interested in becoming a Netrunner playtester. They told me they had read my articles and stuff and thought I would be a good fit but I didn't have a way to participate without pulling the actual players from the group.

I playtested Gearworld for them a while back. Probably because my discussions on Borderlands in the past.
Unfortunately, the game didn't find its mark. Probably because the design while awesome at the time when borderlands came out in 1982, was a bit dated for a new release.
Borderlands was such a great proto-euro risk type game. Would have been cool to have a successful re-release.
Another downfall of it was FFG didn't market it at all.

Yep, the offer came through BGG geekmail. I've playtested 2 expansions and 1 game so far.

They keep asking me to playtest som french reprint called Full Planete or something. All those painted metal pieces looked heavy so i passed.
