Sort of related, I've never played Crokinole before, but this makes me wanna buy a set:

EDIT: I _just_ realized that the minotaur's ball-and-chain flail is a d6!

That grimacing Titan is so iconic, I can't imagine it not existing, but Nishiuye's take doesn't represent the game nearly to the same degree as this Trampier piece.
Yes, the mountain with its native creatures is awesome. As is the Titan standing behind them. Very representative of the game. However, that means another creature is standing in the spotlight.
TITAN is such an airtight game, it would have been awesome for the cover to be equally dialed in. What we have is fine, but I wouldn't complain with Trampier's either.
EDIT: I still have no idea why I'm holding on to the Valley Games TITAN. It's the final item I have that is around solely to 'collect'.

The author of the blog (posted above by Mr. White) makes the same critique. He would have proposed lightening the background a little to make the other creatures pop a little more and put the Lion into combat with something in the foreground corner there, still keeping the image centered on the Dragon.Dr. Mabuse wrote: The image is too static but I love that it shows the Mountains terrain and the native creatures. It needed to show combat to make it a stellar cover. I'm not a fan of Nishiuye's cover, though now iconic.
I prefer this to the Nishiuye art, personally. His Dragon does nothing for me.

.
Is that a Titan or a Colossus?

Great point! I (and seemingly the blog author) assumed it was a Titan standing behind his legion's creatures.
