Since this is Plaid Hat, PHG are very likely to include promos if ordered directly from their own site but I've seen a lot of these promos transfer over to pre-orders from other OLGSs (I've received a few unexpectedly in the past), so who knows.

I think I'll wait to see what the plaidhat deal is.

Looks like it's going to be a promo and earlier shipment. Probably like what happened with Dead of Winter where the pre-orders went out weeks before the OLGS fulfillment. From what I remember it was slightly cheaper than MSRP to offset shipping and incentivize pre-orders but still a bit more than retailer prices.

Pre-orders on PHG will open sometime in May.

Seafall is up for preorder. I really want it but I don't have a group that would play it. Still tempted, I really like the Legacy game ideas but neither Pandemic or Risk base games have been my cup of tea. I enjoyed the games of Pandemic Legacy I played, though.

Cost is roughly $40 more than getting it via OLGS (including shipping on either transaction), but does come with a "free" set of metal coins that are MSRP'd at $40 (but again, might also be cheaper at OLGS)

I pre-ordered from CSI. I'd rather save $40 than have some metal coins.

34 gold ('10') coins = $3.40 (use dimes)
32 silver ('5') coins = $1.60 (use nickels)
42 bronze ('1') coins = $0.42 (use pennies)
Total = $5.42

That's $34.53 off the retail price of $39.95!

If only our coins increased in size as their value increased. Stupid dimes.

I had a really hard time explaining this to a first grader the other day. They're doing place value stuff so they use dimes and pennies to use that concept in an applicable way, but I'm not sure if this kid has ever bought anything with change before. "Yeah, but this one is bigger!"
