It's like people who resist shelling out a bunch of money for a good bed. Considering the amount of time you spend in that thing, it's totally worth it

Forgive me for being lazy but what exactly comes with this version if not the expansion material?

From what I read back when it was announced, it includes a few cards/figures from the expansion. It won't include the battle boards or anything that requires them, which I believe is most of the expansion. I've only played the base game so I can't get into more detail than that.

My apologiers for missing the link. Now I get it...I probably won't get it but I get it.

That would be an awful lot of figs painted so probably worth the expenditure if you're a fan. Maybe I'll hide in the shadows outside one of the FLGS' and mug the first person I see walking out with one.

This means I need to paint my set of WotR -- I have to avoid the $400 price tag of this....mut have willpower.
