Glad to hear that. I'm glad all our talk about it didn't steer you wrong.

What size card sleeves fit the translated cards?

The Isle of Doctor Necreaux (Mother)
Cutthroat Caverns: Relics & Ruins (Sister-in-law)
Cutthroat Caverns: Tombs & Tomes (Mother-in-law)

Yes, I had a list.

I'm normally granted leave to purchase a game or two for myself for Christmas, but the Wife and I blew our disposable cash on a new TV a couple of weeks ago.

So now I have all of the Cutthroat Cavern releases, the Completist in me is sated....... for now.

Got Rush n Crush and Castle Panic for the family. My wife got me a Rhino for my 40K Blood Angels army, and I'm picking up a Battleforce, extra Rhino, and Chaplain with some Christmas cash. Also scored a Sakol ArmyTransport.

Not exactly holiday loot, but I also nabbed the M44 Mediterranean and Pacific expansions and the alternate board at the DoW sale and got the free TtR Marklin, which I'll probably just trade off.

Holy crap Loter, I don't think I've even purchased that many games this entire year. Nice haul man.

As for me, my parents got me Chaos in the Old World. Played it yesterday with my bro and his GF and pulled in a victory with Tzeentch. Seems fucking awesome. The three of us plus my GF plan on playing it a few times this weekend.

My brother got me Cutthroat Caverns: Relics and Ruins and AH: The King in Yellow. Haven't gotten around to playing them yet, but they seem pretty cool.

That's really all I asked for this year since I already have a stack of crap I need to play some more of and Runewars isn't out yet. Most of the stuff I got this year was for my other big hobby: firearms.

My brother got me New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wow, what a dumb title), but I've only gotten to play it for about 30 minutes because I bought my girlfriend Assassin's Creed II and she won't quit fucking playing it.

I wouldn't have bought her a video game if I'd known I was going to be getting one, but I didn't think I would since I don't really play them very much, but now I have a cool one and I want to play it.

I wonder if the game's worth breaking up with her over...

Compared to everyone else, I got coal. I only received 1 game: Monopoly the Planet Earth edition. Last year I got the Simpson version of Monopoly and I was ok with that but the fuck'n Planet Earth edition? Boardwalk is Antarctica? The Railroads are famous caves, come on now.

Next year my wish list is going up on Facebook.

Finally got my first 'Present' present from a friend in Norway. It's a secret santa thing, but he's actually an (online) friend of mine.

The novel translates to 'men who hate women' (a crime novel!)- I can read Swedish well enough that I miss like 1 word *(heh, most often the verb!) in every sentence - the book is Norwegian, which is close to swedish... the CD is for this band:

Kaizer's Orchestra.

And no one does milk chocolate like Scandinavians!

Got some stuff. Drop dead amazing T-shirts from my artist sister. Two Joe Bob Briggs critical books that are great reading.

The highlight is a GP2X Wiz from Sandi. It is a freakishly tiny portable videogame player that has some very healthy technical specs, runs Linux, and support SHDC cards. MAME plays on it like a dream, and it can emulate a Neo Geo without a hitch or an Amiga with a few caveats (no HAM or SHAM modes, and a couple of other oddities that makes it hate Bitmap Brothers games. It can do a flawless Shadow of the Beast, however. )

I've had Dune on my wish on BGG for about 5 years. Uba is probably the only person in the world that has read my wish list and she came through with the goods. She gave me a copy of DUNE the board game she won at auction!!!
