Die Insel der steinernen Wächter

This was the Essen game I was most interested in. A two hour rush-to-the-middle and beat-each-other-up game with some trippy looking aspects, unique army types, and spells.

It is all in German, and would require some pasteups or summaries to play, but looks reasonably playable with the bits on the geek.

Problems are:
A: I've heard nothing about it since Essen.
B: None of the usual suspects are importing copies. Even though Heidelberg is distributing the game.
C: Single copies cost a fortune to ship.

Anyone interested in splitting a few? Or is there anyone in Germany who has a nifty cheap shipping method?

Frank: 2 questions, how well could 2 play it and is spiel-offensive.de carrying it (I'm having issues with their website at the moment, so I'd need you to confirm)?

If S-O.de carries it, I'd pick one up for you (though I wish you had mentioned this before I was in Atlanta for Widespread Panic's New Year's run at the Philips though, damnit). I was thinking about putting in an order with them for another handful of Dungeon Twister Purple Dragons since they're still selling for 4 euros (I'd resold a dozen of them on the Geek last year for $15-20 and I figure interest would crop back up for them now that DT2: Prison is out). If it plays well with 2, I'd pick one up for me...


(And, any of you Essen types have a spare Factory Fun Expansion 1 set? The damn thing is just a couple of @#$@#$ cardboard X's. I ordered it and the Neuroshima Hex Essen promo from an Italian vendor I'd had good dealings with in the past and it never arrived. I have no doubt they stuck the thing in a plain envelope and a US auto-mail sorter shot the contents out of the envelope and into the dustbin of history.)

Depending on the size and weight of the game, it could even be possible to ship two for the €13.90 shipping cost. Judging from photos it could be possible, because the box is quite flat.
