This game has been making the rounds and I seem to keep missing it.

I sit there gritting my teeth as people in the adjacent table complain bitterly about others cutting in on their prostittion ring or drug cartel. Then the someone issues a vendetta and howls of laughter bubble from the screwage.

I want to be the one Causing Screwage!!!

The premise of the game is that the mob boss is in jail and you want to earn the most presitige to impress him if he is cleared of charges. If he is incarcerated, you want to have the most presitge and be and FBI snitch. You bid for control of rackets and when a racket pays out then everyone who has a piece of that racket gets paid. Unless of course you cut them out of the deal in which case they get a vendetta card.
I've not played yet but its apparent that it has tons of opportunities for screwage as well as a secret goal you need to work toward. I've not seen a game evoke this much backstabbery and emotion since War on Terror (one of my top ten games!)

H8t3r Rant:
For some reason, I checked the comments section on BGG and a quick review. I had stopped altoghether but lately I thought maybe there was a change in the climate of BGG. Typical- it recieved lukewarm reviews and blaze' remarks from what is obviously a game designed to stimulate an emotional metagame. Why do I bother...

Sounds like an average Euro with a great theme.

Maybe but the average euro doesn't force player interaction or screw each other over. Until I play it I'll not get an accurate read on it. Just becasue a game has bidding and scores VP deons't make it a euro. We'll see though.
