Hey, I'm too lazy to go through everybody's GenCon reports, but I saw a picture of Tom Wham playing the game there. Anyone see it, play it, have anything to report on it?
If you're out there, Zev, any word on a release date?

I know for a fact that Tom Wham demoed the thing all of Thursday, and was kept quite busy. I regret not sitting down for a demo but I hate waiting.
Nice looking production too.

I can't believe I missed Tom Wham! What was I thinking? Duh. I love his games and have quite a few of them. Ah Well. Opportunity lost.

Did you happen to play it, MOTO?
I understand it's going to be updated a bit, which with Tom Wham games, is usually a good thing. I was wondering if anyone who's played both had any thoughts about the changes.

I've the GW edition that I bought years ago (knackered box but good components) that never got to the table (usual problem - not enough ATers), and this looks pretty similar - hex tiles with lots of cardboard chits, is that right ?
The screens seem new, don't think they're in the GW edition.

Yay for Tom Wham and Z-Man! I have the old West End edition, but I'll definitely be picking this one up as well. I love the castle shield thingies.

I've got a sweet spot for that game, although some wankers would consider it "broken". But the original artwork did a lot to emphasise the silly units. I don't think it would work for me as a serious game.
