Valley Games should have called it "pre-pay", because that's what it was.

Adam has put Angola's prospects for a reprint on life support. The game has about a month left to garner significant interest to keep it from being canceled.

I bet you can put this one right next to Samurai Lords on the "never to see the light of day" pile. I've long-since preordered this title, but MMP's regular customer base doesn't seem to give a rat's ass about anything that isn't a The Gamer's title or that isn't a hex-based representation of a WWII conflict. Add to that that only Mike Rinella and Ed Beach (whose Great Campaigns of the ACW series is published by MMP) seem to encourage anyone to check out their games before publication outside of a convention demo, and you have decent games that won't ever see the light of day.

I still would like to see the counterfactual where this was on GMT's P500. I know we've been over this, but...

Yeah - it kills me. Such a great game and I just can't get the interest. Warriors of God almost went away as well.

SamLords was a different problem - the rights were pulled by the owner. Wasn't my call.

I have two going up on preorder on interesting and unusual topics - King Philip's War and the Ur-Game in the Warriors of God system called Warriors of Japan - so I guess I will never learn and keep trying. Mostly because I get tired of working on only the same ole, same ole...

I know Angola would sell too....that is the worst part.

I'll be in on King Phillip's war -- I had relatives in that one.

That sucks! I passed on a Ragnar Bros. edition of the game because I thought there was a chance MMP would reprint it. Now that decision is going to bite me in the ass isn't it?

I didn't know that bit. That well and truly blows. I keep preordering. Hopefully, one of these games will hit the street.

No blame for you Adam, you always put interesting stuff up on MMP P500. What can you do if people won't order it?

I won't pre-order a game I can't read the rules for beforehand.
