The people I play HiS with have discovered that the game is actually taking longer the more experienced we get. I think this is due to realizing more and different ways powers can negotiate and this phase taking longer and longer each time.

As a heads up, the designer opened up a game entry on BGG and it sounds like we'll be hearing more about the game soon.
