Twilight Struggle Late War Scenario

Anybody else tried this? It's pretty cool. I played it with my wife last night in a bit under an hour. It was tricky because neither of us really know the Late War deck very well. The US player also starts at the end of the Space Race so he can play all 8 cards. The US player only wins if he's at >= +20 at the end and I finished at +24 or so. Pretty cool if you want a different perspective on the game. Recommended. Is there anything this game can't do?

Can it make tacos? Because I'm looking for a game that can make good tacos.

That does sound cool. My fiancee and I play once every month or two. It's so much fun but we haven't tried that version yet. She's still trying to beat me as the USSR player. Once she does that, she'll start playing the U.S.

I'm right in assuming it is easier to win as USSR than as US, yes?

Yeah...it is easier to win as the USSR. However, as you play more and more, you will see definite strategies to help you stay alive as the US. Once you get to the 2nd half of the mid-war, the USSR starts to have a little trouble.

I only play as the US and have yet to lose a game. I think it's fair to keep letting my fiancee play as the USSR though since it is easier for her to win that way.

Man, what a GREAT game. I love it so much. She loves it too even though she's never won. We both find it fun to play. She loves getting into Central America and spreading like Cancer. She's taken both Mexico and Canada before and it's hilariuos when that happens.
