It's kind of sad that Nexus Ops is on there again. That game should be a huge smash hit but it's still in pretty much the same place it's always been. At least anyone who wants a copy can get one I suppose.

The better question is how do you do nexus ops right? Because both times it's been published it's hit bargain bins.

Most people i know that buy ffg games regularly are lured by IPs. They should retheme nexus ops to star wars, it would fly off the shelves.

Yeah, but then they'd figure out some way to make at least a dozen expansions for it.

Not sure this is a world I'm ready for. Knizia is dead and KS is king...

If I weren't up to my eyeballs in Heroscape right now, I might actually have re-bought Gears of War at $20. Black Gold for $10 is a hell of a deal, and if shipping were free I'd take a Planet Steam.

Ventura marked down from $70 to $10...heh heh...somebody screwed up there!

By far the deal of the sale is LOTR: The Confrontation. Fucking awesome game. If you like Stratego-style games, LOTR, want a HUGELY replayable and fun two player game that plays a round in 20-30 minutes, or enjoy Knizia designs then it is a no-brainer purchase. The night I bought this game, a friend of mine and I played literally like 10 times straight and then played it probably as many times the next session. The deluxe version is a must-have, it adds a whole new set of characters that you can mix and match for extra surprise.

Chaos Marauders is an old GW design, done by Stephen Hand (Fury of Dracula). It's cute, all about lining Orcs up in formation. Worth $7, sure.

Blue Max: There just isn't any useful information or reviews on the game. From one review:

"Overall, the box looks good. More importantly, the construction of box itself is very good - being sturdy and well constructed."

Most of the complaints seem to come from people who are upset the plane markings are not 100 percent accurate or don't like the map. It comes with six planes, and I don't think any expansions ever came out.
